Entropy Expanse
07:46
|
|||
I hear the drums pounding every day
They sing in tones of irreversible decay
I see the spires growing in the night
I fear they threaten to take it all away
I hear the whispers on the howling winds
They tell me of mankind's divinity and sins
Yet repeating, it still remains
The primal dance of the entropy expanse
I feel the heat on the ancient road
Imposed on this mortal plane
I watch in fear as the way unfolds
Trespassing the old domain
Half-dead forms speak of life once born
Now coloured in pastel grey
And scream in tones of the dead forlorn
We see the tomb at the end of our way
Crushing the last remaining light
The gloom reflects and drowns our plight
Our fears exist on a cosmic scale
Magnified to impenetrable detail
Denouncing the promised and the prophesised
Malignified by the entropy inside
Fleeing backward to where it came
The water dissipates as watchful moon wanes
Recurrent vortex, silent pained
Lost in the trance of the entropy expanse
Abandoning the quest for equivalency
Relinquishing the power to see
All that is
Atrophic sea flows deep beneath
Where walls once stood, where life once grew
Where we planted our seeds in vain
Encircling birds will nest in the carcasses
The bright-lit sun will juxtapose our ruin

The Pyramid
08:25
|
|||
Standing tall
The monolithic man, built to pierce the sun
That of his own image and creation
He points toward the altar:
"Thou shalt send unto me
That of my own flesh"
Flying high
The disembodied spirit skims the sky
Ascending the tract of reincarnation
He completes the circle
Now fading away, the monolithic man
Suffocated to his own image and creation
Sings the lone eye:
"I've seen it all, and there's nothing left"
Yet here stands a man, a child of the sand itself
And his voice will echo through time
I am the revenant incarnate
I am the walking dead
I will rebuild this monolith
I will watch it fall

Witch Hunt

Now, picture a cross
Adorned with beauty serpentine
The choirs of transplacement
Sing in luminescent symphony
Picture a victim, doomed to watch
His own extinguishing
Your eyes a fog
Of incandescent subtle awareness
Nobody spoils the ground
Nobody speaks, nobody moves
And yet the night sky looks down on us all
An eternity of dark serenity awaits thine pyre
I see, beneath thine delirious mirth
That the ashes are you
From thine own fire
An eternity of frost, it comes like a spear
There is no return or recomposition
For the acts of balance are just and final

Freezing breeze resurrects the disease
Unburned disguise, clouded faceless sky
A landscape chastised, a progressive demise
Trial by ice once more reprised
Storming austere, the reigning leer
Rupture draws near to shadow the plain
Continual decay, the clockwork insane
Over dead sand treads the unsolved man
Buried alive, forever deprived
Immortality of pestilence enshrined

Downpour
08:28
|
|||
Feast the fire
Wrought not from familiar havens
Wrought not by those painted black
Purge momentum
From the eyes of familiar demons
From what was once an iron form
Nightmare comes into fatal form
Drawing flaws to divining maw
Scorn permeation
Of extant filtration
Through the ancient pitch-black wall
Stall dissipation
Into cosmic constellation
Surrender to the junction call
Void command, amoebic wisp
Torrential tether to the light unformed
Drowned under skies of liquid rust
Citadels buried by a rain of dust
Forever to remain in situ
Those who silence their song
Will live to see themselves washed away
Like flakes of rust
In torrential downpour

Hymn of Space
08:38
|
|||
A summoning of Neptune,
Our greater phosphorescent destiny
An escape to illusion
The deepest seas to hide the past
Wreathed astral vessel ignites
To filter extremes
To the center of ancient misty nights
To rebuild circular machine
Unbounded, our fears take flight
Now grounded by the light
Depart failed memory
Primal citadels collapse
A summoning of Cyrus,
Our greater phosphorescent destiny
Circular machine
Creates new circular wanderings
To channel extremes
To rebuild circular certainty
Abandoned by the solar light
We cast our shadows, now comes the night
I am of the moon and sun
We are of the moon and sun
Worlds collide
And I release the strain of aeons
